What do a marathon runner and a creative business owner have in common?

No, this isn’t the start of some bad bar joke.

Let’s just take a look at client acquisition. When you see someone on social media who seems to be getting client after client, people attribute it to a dozen random factors.

“They have a great portfolio.”

“If I had a huge social following, I’d have clients too.”

And sure, maybe these are part of the story. But they are just minor details that don’t really matter.

Success requires a relentless pursuit of doing the boring work day after day.
